The Music of Dan Long

Posted in Music, Songs on February 12th, 2010 by admin

The course of events in my journey through life. There comes a checking out time, and at this time I look back to consider what has accrued during these gone but not forgotten days. Music has been prominent in my life since I learned my first chords on my sister’s guitar at the age of sixteen. I married the love of my life, and will celebrate fifty golden years together come May.

Our lives embrace out three wonderful children, eight grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. I hold a reverent spot therein for our family ties which have brought love and sunshine into my life.

I served my country in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. A born again Christian belonging to the Baptist faith. My family and friends have made my years those that were filled with fascinating experiences.

My music has carried me down many pathways, and time may erase many things, but never the memory of the many fine relationships I have enjoyed with each of you.

Music has brought me such joy and pleasure.
